We came to believe a 5-minute walk could restore us to motion.
Not a marathon. Not a transformation. Five minutes.
The plan in your head was probably big: an hour a day, a new diet, up at 5 a.m. Big plans feel great for about four days. Then a bad night of sleep happens and the whole thing collapses, because the plan had no room for a normal life.
Five minutes has room. You can do five minutes tired, sore, busy, or in a bad mood. The goal for now isn't calories, it's proving to yourself, over and over, that you are a person who gets on. That identity is what turns into 30 minutes later.
General health guidance points at about 150 minutes of moderate activity a week, and every minute counts toward it. You get there by stacking small walks, not by heroics.
Set the timer on this site to 5 minutes. That's the whole assignment.
